All of my creations are made from solid hardwood.  Each piece has its own uniqueness such as knots, blemishes, scars, age rings and discoloration.  This will only enhace its beauty and quality, and will not interfere with its longevity. 

ALWAYS DRY YOUR KNIFE BLADES WITH A DRY CLOTH OR PAPER TOWEL.  DO NOT LEAVE TO AIR DRY.  DRY YOUR BOW KNIFE AND POWER KNIFE ON THE DULL SIDE TO AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF. 

Do not leave of my creations SITTING IN WATER.

Do not put any of my creations IN THE DISHWASHER.

Do not put any of my creations in OVEN OR MICROWAVE

Always OIL my creations with Mineral oil, Corn oil, Coconut oil or Vegetable oil MONTHLY

Do not oil my creations with olive oil, as it will spoil the wood

 How to Cut a bagel without cutting yourself!

1. Lie the bagel down flat on your cutting surface and cut off a small, straight end so it will stand on end without you holding it.
2. Set the bagel on the end you cut and hold (gently) just to stablilize it.  ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FINGERS ABOVE THE BLADE OF THE KNIFE!
3. Slide the Bow Knife backwards and forwards with long strokes - never push down (just like a saw).  Cut all the way down to the bottom
4. You can even make bagels chips this way.
